March Pow in the Winds

Headed up into Christina Lake and country for some turns last Sunday, after a huge dump the Friday before. I'm told Saturday was incredible- that would've been the day to get it, but I had dual birthday parties to attend (both kiddos were born in March). I sacrificed perhaps one of the best powder days for kiddos- who says I'm not a good dad! Ha! Anyhoo- Sunday was still great. Things got hot fast, I got for runs in before things got too hot though. I was solo, and after the previous weekend adventure up Silas- I was pretty skidish about bigger steep stuff. I stuck to the tried and trued- low angle, just fun pow pow.

Conditions up out of the trees were variable, at best.

Lower though, the were fabulous- like butta!

One of my favorite runs- been up here a few times this year.
