Sublette Pass/ Mountain XC Ski Trail

Specking out Sublette Pass/ Mountain on Togwotee Pass, in the Absorakas.

On our way to an avalanche course/ training in Jackson Hole, we stopped off on Togwotee pass for some cross country skiing. The powder was unbelievable. Dangerous avalanche conditions becasue of the new snow though- good day for x-country sticks. Still we were amazed at how steep this trail was. Here's mandy starting up the trail I broke. Two Ocean Mountain is in the background.

Hmmm. Check out those possible lines and... is that a coulior I detect? Me thinks I might have to take this road again, on real skis. Ha! If you click the picture and look closely you can see my clumsy XC lines. Pretty worthwile little jaunt. I'll be back.
